About a month ago I watched The Painted Veil with my sister and if one thing has stuck with me, apart from the ridiculously unfulfilling ending to the film (seriously what the...!), was Naomi Watts' character 'Kitty Fane'. The main appeal I think is drawn from my already avid obsession with the 1920's as well as the character Kitty herself. I love the delicate and feminine fabrics and pastel colours she wears and also what the clothes represent. An age of rebellion, gaiety and experimentation. Love it!
